Meet Fay โ€” a beautiful, sinful story in the making ๐Ÿ’ซ


Got lots of updates today, and it's only been five days since the last post, but we've already got some hot and tasty updates for you.

Time for some exclusive stuff!

Here's a summary of the latest news we've been sharing with our Patreon supporters over the past few days. For the most up-to-date development progress, check out our full devlog on our development page!

Major Engine Switch & Technical Progress

First: the game you'll see in the videos is still in development. The text box, UI, fonts, and blah blah will likely change by the final version. Right now everything's set up mainly to test systems and features.

The biggest news… we've moved the game from Ren'Py to Unity.

We tested different options, but only a full game engine like Unity could really handle everything we want to do. Switching over wasn't easy — we had to rewrite scripts and redo parts of the work — but the result is totally worth it.

Now we can fully customize the game, make it more interactive, and give players a deeper, more immersive experience.

So. We've wrapped up a bunch of technical and boring stuff — lots of code written, bugs fixed, systems polished, etc… Long story short most of the core systems are done, and that means it's finally time to start filling the game with content.

Animated Characters Come Alive

Also, Felicia (Fay) now has animated splash art!

As you can see, the animations are detailed, layered, and transition smoothly. Fay finally feels alive on screen. This is still a technical build — but the heaviest parts are done.

We're now focused on moving in the finished content, polishing the visuals and gameplay, and getting the first playable build ready.

We've tweaked some of her animations, added new idle poses, gave her the ability to blink…

All animated scenes in the game will use the same style of animation. That means everything will be smooth and interactive.

Character Customization & Interactive Features

This will also be our first game where you can actually customize the main character a little!

To make that happen, we've started putting together a proper character creation screen for new games. It's still kinda work-in-progress (so don't worry about the missing background or ugly buttons), but it's coming along nicely.

Now, since Fay is the only character in this game, we really want to make every moment with her feel dynamic and interactive.

And! you'll be able to touch her during conversations too. (We're planning more types of interactions, not just on her splash art.)

Depending on your progress with Fay, she'll react differently and allow or deny certain things. The further you go in the game, the more options and interactions will open up. Some of those interactions will even lead to full scenes.

For example — if you start touching her thighs, she might just… let you keep going. Uh-huh.

This game isn't just a "Fay interaction simulator". We're doing our best to keep a balance between vertical (depth) and horizontal (variety) development for both the gameplay and the story. If you enjoy deeper character progression and layered storytelling, we think you're going to love where this is headed.

Release Plans & What's Next

Overall, development is going pretty fast. Even with the engine switch and new systems, we're still aiming to release the first version soon.

Like we mentioned before, the game will be available on our website in a Web version (with save support for patrons), and also on Windows, Linux, and Android. macOS might come later if there's enough demand.

We don't have an exact release date yet, but we're hoping to announce one — or even drop the first alpha — within the next week.

Looks amazing and im excited to see it. Howvever will alvein ever be finished? Maybe not now but in the future?
